COMMENTS & CRITIQUES
''A wonderful passionate performance'' Nikolai Demidenko
''Strongly individual...captures the attention throughout....the consistency of these high standards, together with her fresh, secure yet spontaneous approach, afforded the listener a compelling musical experience''
(of the Bartok sonata) ''Masterful...strong willed and strong minded....technically superb with great flair and sense of purpose'' John Lill CBE
''Terrific playing'' Carl Vine
''Wonderful, fabulous recital'' Wilma Smith
Of Messiaen’s ‘Vingt Regards sur l’Enfant Jesús Christ’: “Her no 19, ‘Je dors mais mon coeur veille’ was a remarkable distillation of poetic beauty. In a performance serenely calm and sustained, time stood still. It provided the perfect foil for ‘Regard de l’eglise d’amour’ which was a true outpouring of devotional love.” David Barmby
